WooCommerce Integration

Integrate with WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality.

Introduction

The WooCommerce integration enables your AI Agent to access your WooCommerce store data during conversations, allowing it to provide product information, check inventory, and assist with order-related inquiries.

Purpose: Enable e-commerce functionality within conversations for WooCommerce stores, allowing customers to browse products, check availability, and get order information through chat.

Motivation: WooCommerce powers millions of online stores, and customers expect to interact with these stores through messaging. This integration connects your WooCommerce store with LiveTok, enabling conversational commerce.

Capabilities

Product Information Access

The AI Agent can access your WooCommerce product catalog, including product names, descriptions, prices, and variations. Customers can ask about products and receive accurate information.

Inventory Checking

Check real-time inventory levels for products and variants. The AI Agent can inform customers about product availability and suggest alternatives when items are out of stock.

Order Information

Access order information and provide customers with order status updates and details directly through conversations.

Configuration

Prerequisites

  • Active WooCommerce store
  • WordPress admin access
  • WooCommerce REST API enabled
  • API keys generated

Connect WooCommerce

  1. Enable WooCommerce REST API

    • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API
    • Click Add Key
    • Set description (e.g., “LiveTok Integration”)
    • Set user to an administrator
    • Set permissions to Read/Write
    • Click Generate API Key
    • Copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret

  2. Get Store URL

    • Your store URL is your WordPress site URL (e.g., https://yourstore.com)

  3. Configure in LiveTok

    • Go to Dashboard > Connect
    • Find WooCommerce in the available tools
    • Click Connect
    • Enter your Store URL
    • Enter your Consumer Key
    • Enter your Consumer Secret
    • Click Save

  4. Verify Connection

    • Check that WooCommerce is listed under “Configured Tools”
    • Test by asking the AI Agent about a product from your store

Configuration Settings

  • Store URL: Your WordPress site URL
  • Consumer Key: The WooCommerce API consumer key
  • Consumer Secret: The WooCommerce API consumer secret

Once configured, your AI Agent can access your WooCommerce store data during conversations.

Note: WooCommerce is available on Enterprise plans. Contact us to upgrade if you don’t see this option.
