Introduction
The Shopify integration connects your LiveTok AI Agent with your Shopify store, enabling it to access product information, check inventory levels, and track orders during customer conversations. This allows customers to get real-time information about products and orders directly through chat.
Purpose: Enable your AI Agent to access Shopify store data during conversations, providing customers with accurate product information, inventory status, and order tracking.
Motivation: E-commerce customers frequently ask about product availability, order status, and product details. This integration brings your Shopify store data into conversations, allowing the AI Agent to answer these questions accurately without manual lookup.
Capabilities
Product Information Access
The AI Agent can access your complete Shopify product catalog, including product names, descriptions, prices, variants, and specifications. Customers can ask about products and receive accurate, up-to-date information.
Inventory Checking
Check real-time inventory levels for products and variants. The AI Agent can inform customers about product availability and suggest alternatives when items are out of stock.
Order Tracking
Access order information and provide customers with order status updates, tracking numbers, and delivery information directly through conversations.
Configuration
Prerequisites
- Active Shopify store
- Shopify admin access
- Private app with API access enabled
- Store URL and access token
Connect Shopify

Create Shopify Private App
- Go to your Shopify admin
- Navigate to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps
- Click Create an app
- Name your app (e.g., “LiveTok Integration”)
- Configure Admin API scopes:
read_products- to access product informationread_orders- to access order informationread_inventory- to check inventory levels
- Save and install the app
- Copy the Admin API access token

Get Store URL
- Your store URL is your Shopify store domain (e.g.,

Configure in LiveTok
- Go to Dashboard > Connect
- Find Shopify in the available tools
- Click Configure
- Enter your Store URL
- Enter your Access Token
- Click Save

Verify Connection
- Check that Shopify is listed under “Configured Tools”
- Test by asking the AI Agent about a product from your store
Configuration Settings
- Store URL: Your Shopify store domain
- Access Token: The Admin API access token from your private app
Once configured, your AI Agent can immediately access your Shopify store data during conversations.
